Beautiful fully fitted kitchen which includes a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge with freezer compartment. Tea, coffee and sugar included along with ‘Welcome pack’ providing you with milk, fresh bread, butter, jam and marmalade (cleaning products also included). The dining area is part of the open plan lounge which includes Smart TV, data point and Wi-Fi.

A light room finished in relaxing soft colours where we have which has a double bed, luxury bedding, wardrobe, bedside tables with matching lamps, hairdryer and chair (Space for cot).

Another light room finished in a similar theme offering a high level of comfort with a single bed which includes a pull out to create either 2 single beds or another double; modern wardrobe, bedside table and chair.

Bathroom
A warm tiled finish fitted with a modern white suite includes full shower over the bath. Quality towels provided.

Beautifully private and quiet, the tiered garden area offers a decking patio area and lawn. It is South facing has garden furniture to make a perfect outdoor space to take in the magnificent views. Secure off road parking for up to four cars, horse trailer/horse box.

Bolster Moor Farm Shop with its excellent coffee shop serving breakfasts, lunches and cakes. An excellent place to get your holiday grocery shop, stocking locally sourced produce. The Bolster Moor Farm Café has just been voted ‘Yorkshire’s Best Café’ and their pies are to die for! Golcar Lily Pub & Restaurant, Scape House Inn, Jack O’ Mitre, Lower Royal George and Pennine Manor Restaurant and Hotel cater for all culinary delights.

Short Drive away or a 20 minute walk away

Slaithwaite village hosts Vanilla Bean for lunch or just a coffee and cake. The Little Bridge wine bar serves excellent lunches or call in for a drink in the evening before visiting the Monsoon Indian restaurant for some delicious cuisine or Casacolina for Tapas. There are a number of pubs some of which serve lunchtime food. There are also Indian, pizza and Chinese take aways and of course a number of fish & chip shops.

Go a little further away

The Olive Branch serves excellent food if you’d prefer something a little more special, it is highly regarded as one of the area’s finest dining destinations. Check out the website for special offers.
Travel a couple of minutes further into the centre of Marsden where you will find Mozzarella’s, with a warm family friendly environment it serves excellent pizzas and pasta or just call for a drink at the bar or Crumbles Cafe shop.

There are two 18 hole golf courses in the locality, one in Outlane village, within walking distance of the barn. The nearby Leisure Centre in Slaithwaite has a swimming pool, badminton courts, and gym and runs many relaxation and fitness classes such as yoga and Pilates.

Museums and other local attractions include

Colne Valley Museum is a local weaver’s cottage which hosts a variety of events including weaving, clog making and home baking.

The “Last of the Summer Wine” country in Holmfirth is just 5 miles away.
The area is rich in culture with theatres nearby in Bradford and Leeds. Locally the area hosts a number of music festivals including Marsden Jazz Festival and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.

Families will enjoy the Eureka Science Museum at Halifax, Bradford National Media Museum and Ice Skating Rink and Royal Armoires at Leeds.
