Our home is a double storey pre-war house built in the 1920's during colonial times. It is one of the few properties still standing in a neighbourhood where time has stood still in the midst of rapid modernisation common to all cities around the world.

The interior has recently been renovated to provide a comfortable, airy and cosy atmosphere while retaining the facade as the heritage feature.

The word 'Sarang' means nest in the Malay language and 'Galloway' comes from the road on which this home is situated. The road is named after a British jailor serving in the then Federated Malay States at the nearby historical Pudu prison.

Sarang Galloway is very spacious with a built up area of 1,800 sq ft. There are 4 bedrooms with 1 downstairs for those who don't wish to climb the stairs and 3 rooms upstairs. All the rooms upstairs are with windows. While the room downstairs has a king size bed those upstairs are with twin super single beds fitted with comfortable mattresses, pillows, fresh linens and quilts to ensure that you have a good night's sleep as if you are in your own bed, There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. The bathrooms are with hot showers and bath gel.

The kitchen is well equipped with 2 gas stoves, wok, pots, pans, utensils, refrigerator and a microwave oven.

Sarang Galloway is children friendly. A baby cot is provided free upon request. Baby sitting is available with a small fee. Our TV has multi channel satellite programmes and a large collection of DVDs and VCDs are available for your viewing pleasure.

For those who enjoy reading there is a selection of books together with a large number of guides to all attractions in Kuala Lumpur and various parts of Malaysia.
Sarang Galloway is owned and managed by us, Christina and Michael who ourselves are seasoned travellers.

We are most happy to help make your stay with us in Malaysia as memorable and enjoyable as possible. As such we will gladly provide you with any advice and help that you may need for your travel. In fact we offer personalised tours at very low rates. Possibly the cheapest you can find.

Individual Room rates start from RM150 per night for 2 persons with breakfast.
