A modest distance to the south east of Orleans and to the north of Sancerre, at the eastern end of the Valley of the Kings, at only 150 km south of Paris, on the banks of the river Loire between Gien (bone china factory) and Briare (Canal Bridge), this apartment (approx. 70 m2 and apart from the main houses) is located on the ground floor of the former stables

Comprises 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and 2 single beds, a large living room, a kitchen (fridge & deep freeze, electric stove, microwave oven, dishes washer, dishes, etc.) and a bathroom (bathroom and wc, washing-machine). Furnished with quality antique furniture. A private entrance faces the south with private parking and small garden with barbecue and garden furniture.

Also another Gite for 2 persons: in the B&B house on the ground floor, with private entrance and separate garden, a self-catered flat: a living-room with kitchen corner, 1 bedroom with 1 single and 1 double beds, a shower room with ensuite.

You will visit castles (Chambord, Cheverny, Saint Fargeau, Sully, Chamerolles, Gien, La Bussière, Saint Brisson, Blancaford, Aubigny sur nere, La Verrerie, Boucard, Menetou) and wine places (Sancerre, Pouilly sur Loire, Menetou-Salon, Coteaux du Giennois).

Also rambles on the banks of the Loire, canals, and forests (Sologne, Berry).

It is a Valentine's Day anytime for a 2 nights stay minimum. A romantic dinner will be fixed in the living room of the King Francois Suite or in the lounge close to the Blue bedroom. Champagne, candles on the table and in the suite and the Green room only, an open log fire.
