Australia- Queensland Coral Coast at Burnett Heads. This is sugarcane country and home of the world famous Bundaberg Rum. Lime Cottage Self-contained cottage with optional B&B, which accommodates two to four guests.

Surrounded by sugarcane farms and yet minutes to Oaks Beach for swimming and snorkeling. Guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility sitting outside on the patio that overlooks the tropical garden courtyard or inside among the modern decor and artworks that adorn the walls. It is situated on a 12 acre property with some Wiltshire Horn sheep, some cattle and some chooks for fresh eggs- a farmstay near the beach!

Lime Cottage features a queen-size bed and private en suite and two single beds upstairs in the loft. It is fully screened with lockable security screen door and has ceiling fans and air-conditioning for your comfort. Complete with all linen provided, kitchen area, outdoor BBQ and DVD/TV/CD/MP3.

Very private, yet minutes from the turtle hatchery at Mon Repos. The small beach here is the nesting and breeding area for loggerhead turtles and in the evenings visitors can witness the turtles making their life threatening journey from the shore across to the sea.

Swirling fields of green sugarcane beckon you to explore the back roads and peaceful scenery of our beautiful countryside. Bundaberg is a rich agricultural area, and grows enough sugar to meet the supplies of one fifth of Australia's usage.

The tropical weather here and plenty of sunshine makes the area ideal for growing large supplies of fruit and vegetables, so there are plenty of crops in the outlying district of Bundaberg.
