The apartment is furnished very comfortable, intended to be a 'home from home'. The kitchen is equipped with hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, café machine, toaster,...

Also provided with iron, iron board, hairdresser, blanket, bed sheets and towels.

In the living room there is a tv (satellite), DVD, and CD hifi, it is as well provided with a sofa bed.

The highlight of the apartment is without a doubt the views of the beach and ocean. Visible from most rooms and of course from the terrace, which is 15 mt. big, very comfortably furnished with a big table, 6 chairs and deckchairs.

Located at the base of the Atlanterra hillside over-looking North Africa to the south and the Cape of Trafalgar to the west, it is a residential zone, 1 km. from the village Zahara de los Atunes, coast of Cadiz, 90 km. from Jerez de la Frontera airport, 70 km. from Gibraltar.

It is a private and closed urbanization, there are many restaurants around, and some supermarkets to buy.

Description of Zahara. The best the beach Zahara a los Atunes, a traditional Spanish family resort with a working fishing community still very much at it's heart.

Set on one of the area's beautiful, unspoilt beaches. There is a large selection of excellent restaurants and bars in the village and freshly caught seafood is of course a feature and a speciality. The beaches of Tarifa are a 25km drive away and are some of the best in the world for wind and kite surfing (a fantastic spectator sport even if you are not brave or mad enough to participate).

Whale watching trips and day trips to Tangiers are also available from here. Inland are vast areas of national park, fantastic for mountain biking, walking and bird-watching. Nearby is the picturesque hilltop 'Pueblo Blanco' of Vejer de la Frontera, with it's winding alleyways and hidden courtyards. Here you will find many excellent restaurants and fantastic views. The whole region is truly one of Spain's best-kept secrets.

Zahara de los Atunes is one of the few villages left on the Spanish coastline, that has preserved its wild beauty. This fishing village has about 2000 inhabitants and a number of excellent fish restaurants. The fish here is fresh and mostly caught locally. As the name says there is a century old tradition of Tuna fishing, which is still maintained today. Come and discover the beauty of this area - you will always come back! Also the countryside around Zahara offers unspoiled nature reserves, still to be discovered by most.

Villages around
Very nice villages around, as Vejer de la Frontera with a very important golf court 'Montenmedio', just at 10 km.
Tarifa, very well known for people who like windsurfing, at 30 km.
Conil de la Frontera, another village very nice, at 40 km.
The capital, which is Cadiz is about 70 km. far from Zahara.

Golf
Golfers will find several courses along the coast towards Chiclana, all within a half-hour drive, and all open to non-members. The nearest being at Montenmedio Golf and Country Club (a 15 min drive), where you will also find extensive equestrian activities on offer and excellent restaurants.
