Villa Tuzlabeli
The Villa is on the edge of Uzumlu village which is in an area of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives. At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour.
It is 500m above sea level, which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. A 5- 10 min walk takes you into the village you where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays.
On entering the villa you get a feeling of space. On the first floor there is an open plan lounge that leads out onto the pool terrace, Separate dining room that has a French balcony over looking the pool, fully equipped kitchen with a large balcony, family bathroom which has a separate Jacuzzi bath and shower cubical, and a double bedroom (ideal if you have a member in your party that has trouble getting up stairs)
Upstairs you will find, another open plan seating area, the family shower room, 1 en-suite bedroom with a balcony, 2 twin bedded rooms one of which has a balcony and the family bedroom that has a double bed and sofa bed in it. This bedroom shares its large balcony with the seating area. All the balconies offer lovely views.
The villa has air-conditioning (lounge and bedrooms), central heating, open fire, Hair driers large fridge/freezer, electric oven gas/electric hob, Washing machine dishwasher, Kettle, toaster microwave, Iron and ironing board. TV, DVD/CD player, a selection of CDs, DVDs, books and board games, Sun loungers, umbrellas, pool towels and Bath towels, bed linen, cool bag and for the younger members of your party we have supplied a travel cot with bassinet, high chair, stair gate and all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair (subject to condition it is left in by previous user (tyre punctures etc)) if you require them..
Steps lead down to the BBQ area, gardens and peaceful lower patio.
If you prefer more choice then Fethiye with its bustling shops, harbour, museum, and Tuesday market, can be reached by the regular Dolmus (minibus), or if you have a hire car Fethiye and Calis are about 20 minutes drive away.
Calis has a seemingly endless beach that's a significant nesting place for logger head turtles, plenty of restaurants and a Water-park and you can also reach Fethiye from there by water taxi.
Oludeniz with its famous lagoon and paragliding centre is approx another 15 minutes away as is Hisaronu with its lively night-life, clubs and restaurants.
Slightly further away are several ancient ruins, the unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and Salikent Gorge.
The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away.
