Abbotshill Self Catering Holidays
Situated in a leafy, fringe of village location, yet providing easy access to motorway, rail and air links, Abbotshill is an ideal base from which to tour Fife, Angus, Perthshire and beyond.
The tourist attractions within a leisurely drive of the house are far too numerous to mention, but range from palaces to historic houses and picturesque villages, whilst, for the younger at heart, there is off road driving, archery, clay pigeon shooting, loch fishing, gliding, whilst golf courses are in abundance - and all virtually on the doorstep.
For spectacular scenery, travel north to Pitlochry or Blair Atholl (there you can visit the Harrods of the North), or west to loch Earn, loch Tay, loch Katrine or loch Lomond. For family days out, visit heritage, wildlife and sea life centres or, simply, picnic on one of Fife's many award winning, clean beaches. Or, if the weather is fine, simply stay at home and relax, enjoy the views across the river Tay to the Carse of Gowrie and the Sidlaw Hills beyond, as you enjoy a glass of wine and some well grilled delicacies from the gas barbecue.
Whatever you choose, and wherever you are from, with Abbotshill as your base, you are assured of a memorable holiday experience.
To date, we have had visitors from not only England, Scotland and Ireland, but from Germany, France, Holland, Denmark, the USA and Canada, but, last year, our very first guests from both Pakistan and Russia. So, keep coming, for you are assured of a very, very warm welcome, not only in the house, but from everyone in this friendly and historic Burgh of Newburgh.
We look forward to welcoming you, too, and perhaps, adding yet more nationalities to our current very satisfied and diverse geographical clientele. So, we hope to see you in the near future. Come to visit - you will not be disappointed.
