The Stable Yard

The Stable Yard is situated within 120 acres of grass and woodland in the Bedfordshire countryside. Nestled in a working livery yard, our self-catering apartments are truly unique. Within easy reach from the M1, A1 and A6, we are 7.5 miles from Bedford and 12 miles from Milton Keynes.
We offer 9 self-catering apartments. There are 8 open plan Studio apartments, each with a fitted kitchen and on-suite bathroom. There is also a two bedroom self-contained family apartment called Newbury. Spare beds are available for all types of rooms, subject to availability and we are a dog friendly accommodation company.
Centrally located between the studio apartments and adjoining Newbury is a communal area known as The Collecting Ring. This space is ideal to chill-out with friends or other guests on the leather sofas in front of a roaring wood burning fire. With a large dining table it can also be reserved for private get togethers.
The Fire Pit is in a large garden seating area, open to our guests and visitors. Situated by the Collecting Ring it has a beautiful view of the fields and woodland. Perfect for a chilled drink with family and friends. There is also a gas BBQ for the guest to use. On the cooler days and evenings the Fire Pit is lit so you can stay warm; but your beer cool.
We are also proud to offer the Stable Yard as a Wedding Venue. All the apartments can be block booked for guests with the wedding site located in a beautiful private woodland space, just a short walk from the accommodation.
