The Chalet

La Crème Anglaise is a completely renovated 19th C village house perched on the mountain with spectacular views across the Isère valley. It is 5 minutes drive from the village shop in Ste. Foy and 20 mins from 3 supermarkets in Bourg St. Maurice.

Useful Information

Before your visit you may like to do a bit of homework!

1. Get your ski pass on line

2. You can even get a discount ski pass if you are skiing for more than a week or so.

3. Pack your MP3 player. MP3 users can download free onto your MP3 or your mobile a guided tour of the ski slopes

4. Study the ski maps to see where hard, lumpy, easy, dangerous bits are. i.e. For fans of bumps try Fond Blanc and Clair Blanc pistes from the top of Arpette, or the Comborcière piste reached by the Comborcière or the Clocheret chairlifts, The Mur du Cachette at 1600 under the 'chenin des sources' or the 2300 bumps course at the top of the Peisey Vallandry area

For fans of the unusual try to Malgovert red piste or the Mont blanc blue piste from the top of Comborcière chairlift, or from the Aguille Rouge all the way down to Villaroger for 7 km of non stop skiing, or the red La Combe piste in the Peisey forest

5. You can check what slopes are open
