The Old Cart House is set in the countryside in lovely quiet rural location. This spacious, high quality barn conversion is well equipped and furnished and has once again been assessed as a 4 star property by the Quality in Tourism Assessment Service for Visit Britain. Most of our customers return many times and always look forward to their holiday in this welcoming, spotless and peaceful property.

With the market towns of Malton, Pickering and Helmsley all close by, it is ideally situated for exploring the North York Moors National Park with its scenic walks, quaint villages, as well as the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast with its historic fishing ports and resorts of Whitby and Scarborough. The historic city of York with its Minster, Jorvic Centre and National Railway Museum is only a short journey away.

The historic Castle Howard and the popular Flamingo Land Theme Park are both close by. With many traditional Yorkshire pubs and restaurants in the area. Eating out is a pleasure that many of our guests enjoy, however the fully equipped kitchen means that a quiet night in is just as enjoyable.

Why not bring your own horse on holiday? We have stabling and grazing by arrangement.

The cottage has a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen diner and a generous sized, comfortable living room, with spectacular views over fields towards the Howardian Hills - an area of outstanding natural beauty

All linen, Fuel, Central Heating as well as a welcome pack is included in the price. Our living room is equipped with a Hearing Aid Induction loop, Free view television, video, DVD and CD player. The bedrooms are equipped with alarm clock radio, Free Internet access is available by way of a wireless LAN.

Cot, High Chair and Baby Sitting Service is all available.

Pets welcome by arrangement.
