The Old Church Self Catering
Just four miles from Ludlow, a unique self-catering experience: staying in the Nave of a 1766 converted Grade B (2*) Listed Church, in the quiet hamlet of Hopton Cangeford, set deep in the rolling hills of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The open plan Nave has the original oak panelling, the Font, Squires Pews and Pulpit. You can dine by candlelight in the Vestry, how very romantic.
Facilities include a shared utility room, an enclosed garden with spectacular views, there is underfloor heating, a freezer, a fitted kitchen with built in dishwasher and fridge, hand painted tiles, a range gas cooker and Portmerion crockery.
Sink into the comfy sofas while you watch the 50 Plasma screen television with blu-ray home cinema system. There is also free wi-fi. For added convenience there is a downstairs toilet and shower room, tiled throughout and featuring hand painted delft tiles.
Up the staircase to the large double bedroom with wall mounted lcd television, a walk-in wardrobe with dressing table, an ensuite bathroom, tiled in travertine and granite, with shower enclosure and Jacuzzi, go easy on the bubble bath.
The owners live above so are always on hand to give help and advice.
