Coffeeriver Cottages - is where your Dominican adventure begins, a perfect spot for the ultimate tropical hideaway - ideal for a Family, Honeymooners, Romantic Getaways, Personal Retreat, as well as an opportunity for Twitchers/bird watching (reported to be 163 varieties on the island).

We follow a green ethos and have an abundance of environmentally friendly practices in operation. Our land provides much of our food; using renewable energy and promote a sustainable lifestyle.

Vehicle Rental can be arranged, for you at your expense, a Jeep or 4x4 is advisable, this also will allow you the freedom to explore the Island at your leisure. We use Bonus Rental due to their reliability.

We do encourage visitors to experience the markets with local food choices, which Dominica has to offer.

Second floor: First room: 1 Double Bed /second room: 2 Singles Beds
First floor: 1 Bedsitter [Futon], Full Kitchen, Bathroom, under cover Patio/Veranda/Dining area. Able to sleep 5 persons 1 Cot is available.

Garden View: $125.00 USD per couple, sleeps up to 8 poss 10 - per night, add $20.00 USD extra per person per night
consisting of 2 bedrooms with en-suite plus an extra bathroom on the second floor open plan accommodation will be able to sleep 8 persons) 1 Cot is available.

We have consciously chosen to utilize alternative energy to power our needs and those of our guests - our electricity, hot water is provided by: Solar collectors, softening our carbon footprint.

Our gardens are maturing containing a variety of fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and more when in season: all organic.
The wild bird population is varied 163-185, numerous around our garden, which is maintained with the wildlife in mind leaving our borders wild so this will in-courage insects for the birds to feed naturally.
Community
We can advise on: where to go, what to see & where to eat out, locally.
Supporting the local traders: buying products and local services in the community.

Bus service is available from the main road, which is 1 mile from our place.

Coffeeriver Cottages: is located on a tranquil, pristine river excellent for swimming and bathing. The ocean is approx. 1 mile away and the one of the best beaches on the island is about 15 minutes.
We are 5-20 minutes from 3 local villages, for that local flavour.

Here on the North East we have absolutely the best beaches on the Nature Island of Dominica.
Also close by for day excursions are: hiking experiences, waterfalls, local shopping and other tourist attractions all with 30 min./1 hr. or if you wish to go to the only city Roseau 90 mins.
