Morlan Lodge is ideal for a holiday by a sandy beach, swimming, kayaking, playing golf or sailing. It’s also a good retreat for painting, writing, and bird watching.
The cottage was renovated by the owner and architect son to high standards of energy conservation and comfort. It is set in a peaceful garden with magnificent views across Cardigan Bay. Morlan Lodge is 1 mile from the beautiful and lively village of Aberdyfi, in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park and in the Dyfi Biosphere.
Accommodation
Entrance area. Sitting room with sofa, dining table, fold away single bed, French windows on to a terrace and sea view. Kitchen with sea view and modern kitchen fittings. Double bedroom with sea views, and ensuite shower. Separate WC. Double glazing of all windows. Maximum value insulation, draught sealing of roof and walls, good sound proofing.
Electric central heating with electric fire in the sitting room, radio, digital TV, DVD; microwave; electric hotplates and oven; fridge/freezer; bed linen and towels provided; heated towel rail. Wifi on request, no extra charge.
Mini Welsh breakfast supplied with local and fairtrade foods to set you on your way.

Environmental Features:
The Lodge is fully insulated and has good water conservation with rainwater collected and dual toilet flush. There is an energy efficient fridge, double glazing, insulated hot water pipes, organic & fairtrade foods. All possible waste is recycled and all garden waste is composted. Information is provided to visitors on public transport, cycling and walking routes, and the local countryside.

Seaside - Aberdyfi (1 mile) with 4 miles of sandy beach, swimming, kayaking, Yacht Club, water sports, Dyfi Donkeys. Many other beaches along the Cardigan Bay coast.
Aberdyfi village – shops, pier, post office, pubs, locally made ice creams, Bowling Club with bowling/tennis/putting/ croquet. Croquet tuition available on request. Summer Food Festival. Good restaurants: full information and recommendations provided in the Lodge.
Golf courses - Aberdyfi, Harlech (top championship courses in N Wales), Borth, Machynlleth, Fairbourne (beginners) and Dolgellau.
