Biallid House

Biallid House, in the Cairngorms National Park, is a traditional seven-bedroom house in Newtonmore that can sleep up to 15 people, making it perfect for large groups and family holidays.

Biallid House contains two main living areas: a drawing room, and morning room. The drawing room features a large open fire with plenty of comfortable sofas making it perfect for a winter retreat. The morning room brings in plenty of light, with a fantastic view of the mountains, and also features a traditional fireplace with sofas and a small dining table where guest can enjoy breakfast or a morning tea

Biallid’s kitchen is fully functional, with plenty of space for cooking and preparing large meals. At the heart of the kitchen is a lovely Aga; there is a separate electric hob for additional pots. Also included is a fridge, freezer, microwave, large sink and a dishwasher.

Biallid has plenty of bedrooms for large families or group celebrations. Downstairs, there is a double room with en-suite that is ideal for those who may struggle with the stairs. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite, two double rooms, two twin rooms, and a triple room. There are also 3 family bathrooms upstairs, so there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready in the morning!

There are dozens of activities and things to do in and around Biallid House. In the house itself is a games room, with a large table and plenty of traditional board games. There is also a large garden, ideal for some outside games or for excitable dogs to run about in.

There are various rural pursuits on offer in the area surrounding the this traditional lodge, such as shooting; indeed included in the rent price is 1.5 miles of trout fishing on a bank of the River Calder and 2.5 miles of trout and salmon fishing on a bank of the River Spey.

Riding lessons can also be arranged at the neighbouring riding school. All in all Biallid is an ideal holiday property in a spectacular area of Scotland for sporting enthusiasts or simply those who enjoy the great outdoors.
