The Garden Cottage
The beautiful Garden Cottage is a true gem in a magical setting. This lovely cottage is surrounded by gorgeous Devon countryside with views stretching for miles in all directions. This immaculate cottage has been wonderfully designed with a great mix of style and elegance in every room. The large, bright and spacious rooms have all been tastefully decorated with a nice mix of neutral tones.
The large living room has nicely been designed. At the rear of the room is the lovely dining area with country style table and chairs, which are ideal for all occasions. At the opposite end of the room and with views of the gorgeous garden is the lounge area. With a large squishy sofa perfect for relaxing it is a great place to watch TV, play games or enjoy a cosy evening in.
The kitchen at the cottage is very well equipped with a vast array of pots and pans as well as all the usual appliances, including oven, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
With views of the garden and rolling Devon hills, the Master Bedroom is a lovely place to wake up. The king-size bed is large and comfy and there is amble storage with a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom has been beautifully designed and fitted to a very high standard with a shower, wash basin and loo.
As the name suggests, the cottage has a wonderful garden, which is home to lots of colourful flowers. It also attract a number of wild birds who always appreciate a few seeds. The garden is lovely for summer afternoons and with sun loungers provided it is a great place to top up your tan without heading to the beach. You can also enjoy a BBQ or alfresco meals in the garden with a pretty patio area for dining.
The Garden Cottage is in an excellent central location. The North Devon coastline is less than a 30 minute drive and with miles of golden beaches at Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde and Westward Ho! it is a wonderful place to visit for a day on the beach. There are also several seaside villages dotted along the coastline, which offer places to eat and shop, these include Appledore and Clovelly.
Exmoor and Dartmoor are also an easy drive away and both National Parks offer endless walking opportunities. Other local activities include cycling with the Tarka Trail close by and horse riding. RHS Rosemoor Gardens are also less than five miles away as is the award wining New Inn, which serves very good food.
