Maquia Mill Old cottage near the coastal
The house is an old mill, stone built, restored with ecologically materials in 2000. It has one bedroom with double bed, log stove and en-suite bathroom; a second bedroom with two single beds, log stove and en-suite bathroom, and a third bedroom with two single beds without bathroom.
The sitting room has a wood stove, TV and sofas. In the kitchen area is the dining table, fridge, cooker and microwave. The mill has also a library zone for reading and a room with the old mills. We offer cot for free for babies. Washing machine is shared with Batán Mill in the same property. Firewood is included in the price.
Outside there is a barbecue, a vine arbor and garden furniture.
The house, included in a little village, is surrounded for a semi-wild garden and natural woodlands. The garden is divided by the Fervenza brook and has two little bridges for crossing it. Near the mill, you can find a magical and natural place for swimming in the River Mera: the Pozo de la Caldeira. River Mera Valley belongs to the EU Natura 2000 Network and is home for a variety of protected wildlife.
The Mill is situated in a green and peaceful place in the river Mera Valley, near the rugged Atlantic costal of the Galicia region of Spain. Restored with a modern concept, it offers you peace and comfort in an outstanding place at only 10 minutes from the beach.
A few minutes from the property you can find: the famous cliffs of Capelada and Loiba, Ortegal cap, beaches like Morouzos or Fornos and tourist sites like San Andrés de Teixido, Cedeira, Cariño, Ortigueira, O Barqueiro or Estaca de Bares.
