Charter House which sits at the top of the village square retains some of its original features and offers spacious accommodation.

Down stairs there are 3 reception rooms which consist of a panelled sitting room with gas coal effect wood burner and TV/DVD that sits 5/6, a lounge with a multi fuel burner and TV/DVD that also sits 5/6 and a dining room. Leading from the sitting room is the kitchen/breakfast room which has a large farm house style table, electric oven, hob, dish washer and fridge in it, off the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer plus should you need another fridge and freezer.
There is also a down stairs Wc.

Up stairs there are 6 six bed rooms, 2 super king size double rooms, 1 standard double, 1 twin, 1 single with high bed and 1 single with adjustable bed. 5 of the bed rooms have wash hand basins and the original fire places (ornamental only). There is also 1 bathroom with spa bath and toilet and a shower room that also has a toilet.
Out side there is the good sized rear garden that has been laid mainly to lawn with a few trees and shrubs, and a side garden with raised bed that leads around to the courtyard and front garden.

Bed linen, towels, electricity, gas, oil and wi-fi are included in the rental cost. There is plenty of free parking available in the adjacent car park.

Hartland is located in an ideal position for those who want to explore this part of Devon which offers some stunning scenery, plenty of of walks along the rugged cliff tops, sheltered coves and beaches ideal for surfing, as well as family attractions to suit all tastes including Hartland Abbey, Clovelly, The Milky Way and the Big sheep.

The village itself has a selection of shops traditional family pubs that serve food and a takeaway.

For short break (peak time) and late availability please contact us (some nightly rates are given) Electricity & oil is included: Christmas and New Year period Christmas decorations can also be included. There is an extra charge of £25 per dog per week. We require a security deposit of £250, which is refundable within 2 weeks of your departure from the property providing that it has been left in the same condition as when you arrived. Payments can be made by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer.
