4 miles from the A303 is Bridge Cottage on the A359 in the rural village of Marston Magna between Sparkford and Sherborne. The self catering period cottage built in 1883 has great charm and is full of character. A romantic get-away!
On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen with pine table and chairs for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard, with washing machine, fridge, freezer, iron/board, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the cutlery, crockery, pans you could wish for.
A comfortable lounge with a 2 seater sofa, 2 armchairs. A 32' colour HD/TV/DVD with freeview built it. A CD player. Many games, toys, CDs, DVDs, books for all.
The spacious shower room has a shower, toilet, sink, bidet, heated towel rail, heating.
Upstairs there are two very large double bedrooms. One with a kingsize bed, bedside cabinets, table lamps, built in wardrobes, and a comfy sofa with lovely views over the countryside. The second double bedroom has two single beds in with bedside cabinet, dressing table and stool, full length mirrors, wardrobes.
Outside there is a pretty south facing garden with shrubs and climbers. Garden furniture. Also a very large Summer House and Games Room with patio and seating outside.
Car parking for 2 cars, Free WIF-FI.
Prices include hot/cold water, heating by night storage-convector in all rooms, electric, bed linen, duvets, pillows, pillow protectors, towels, tea towels, the use of a high chair and travel cot and stair gates.
Bridge Cottage is ideally situated for many rural walks, cycling, fishing, golf, and many attractions, also National Trust properties. Motor Museum, including a great number of interactive experiences for all the family. Or the surroundings of Bridge Cottage are private and relaxing for re-charging those batteries!
