La Grande Salle Verte Gites and Guest house

Our lovely (no-smoking) 2 bedroomed cottage 'La Petite Maison' is ideal for up to 4 people.

Wheel chair and child-friendly, double-glazed and insulated, it has a ground floor double bedroom, large wetroom and kitchen/sitting room with all you could need for a great holiday. (Internet, hairdryer, games, washing machine, dishwasher, halogen hob, etc)

Upstairs is a twin-bedded room, and 2 travel cots and a high chair and playpen can be provided.

There are also 2 disabled scooters that can be borrowed free of charge , if wanted. You also have 2 private patio areas with seating, overlooking the grounds.
There is automatic lighting on pathways.

In the grounds, you will find the 19 foot above ground pool and solar shower, with a decked surround, seating and flower tubs.

There are peach and pear trees shading a garden swing, an orchard with tables and chairs scattered around so you can relax with a glass of wine and keep an eye on the children in our large play area with 2 sets of swings, 12 foot trampoline, zipwire, sandpit, bikes, scooters etc.

We also have ducks, hens, rabbits, goats and 2 barn cats (Antarctica and Licorice) who mostly keep to themselves.

Everyone is welcome to feed the animals and help collect the eggs.
Although we are only 200 yards from the village bar, we are quietly situated on the edge of the village, overlooking hayfields and oak and sweet chestnut trees.

If you want a relaxing holiday, stay here by the pool, round the barbeque or snooze under an apple tree. If you are looking for something more lively, a pretty drive of around 40 minutes gets you to beautiful mediaeval Fougeres with markets, land train, chateau, 10pin bowling, indoor/outdoor pool with fountains, flumes and waves.
Domfront, Mayenne, Vire and Laval are all in easy reach.
