Referred to as a “pocket of paradise” Monte Rosa has been featured in books such as Special Places to Stay over the past decade. It is a home away from home. With charming rooms and apartments all individually decorated and equipped you will be sure to find the right space to suit your needs weather you are alone, with your family or in a group.

Your private terrace, communal dinning terrace and plethora of hammocks, swings and garden chairs will ensure you are comfortable to sit back and take in the awe inspiring views which we have to offer. Whether it’s flowers, fruit trees, rolling hills, vast fields or wildlife which tick your boxes you will find an array of it all right in our very own gardens.

Complete with pool, yoga and meditation studio, rental bikes, exercise space and abundant walking treks you will truly be spoilt for choice of leisurely activities. All apartments have their own private self catering facilities while the bedrooms have access to a communal self catering kitchen. Monte Rosa also offers daily breakfast on request and group meals 3 times a week inclusive of a delightful barbecue, which caters to both meat eaters and vegetarians abundantly.

Here you will truly feel as though have ‘gotten away from it all’ and as soon as you’d like to get back in to it, you’ll find the gorgeous city centre of Lagos a short 15 minute drive away offering beautiful scenery, restaurants and last but not least half a dozen stunning beaches for you to continue your holiday bliss.

For true travellers you’ll be happy to know that Lisbon is easily accessible by bus, car or train from Monte Rosa within 2.5 to 4 hours depending on your mode of transport. Sagres (the edge of Europe) is less than an hour away as is Monchique which offers some spectacular jaw dropping cliff views and a town which was left back in time.

Faro is the nearest airport to our guesthouse, which is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away. Ways to get to us from there include trains, taxis, car rental (which can be organised by us) or for your comfort we also arrange transfers. We look forward to seeing you!
