Scandinavian style Chalets
Melbury, Duncliffe, Hardy and Wessex are superb timber framed chalets surrounded by Blue Spruce trees and plenty of space for the children to play. Each chalet sleeps six and has parking for 2-3 cars. Each chalet has a double downstairs bedroom and en-suite facilities. Hardy and Wessex are suitable for the less able guest with en-suite wetroom.
The spacious open plan lounge and kitchen/diner provides all mod cons with leather reclining sofa's and stylish flame effect fires. The kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Each master bedroom upstairs has it's own balcony and looks out onto fields grazed by our black and white Freisian cows. Melbury has it's own six seater hot tub on the veranda. All linen and bedding (duvets) are provided and bath robes in Melbury.
The farm is perfect for relaxing or taking on a more active activity. Fishing lakes are just 1 minute drive or a few miles further on is a small golf course. For the more energetic why not try horse riding situated just outside Gillingham or Quad bikes near Dorchester. For a slower pace why not embark on the many footpaths criss-crossed over our beautiful countryside. There is always a waterhole to quench the thirst on every route!
You are spoilt for choice when visiting attractions. If you enjoy museums or stately homes then Longleat house, Wilton, Kingston Lacy or Stourhead are well worth a visit. Museums such as Bovington Tank Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum attract young and old. Smaller museums are open certain days in most towns.
Swanage railway and Corfe Castle are proud reminders of our heritage and from there lead on to some fabulous coastal attractions such as Studland, Lulworth and Durdle Door.
