This colonial home has been our private hideaway for almost 20 years. We have now decided to share this unique property with special people wanting to have the experience of living in a unique property such as this. There are two beautiful adult land tortoises roaming free on the property.

Many fruit trees such as mangos, papayas, guavas, small bananas, avocados, and many more fruit trees are there for you to pick when ripe. Beautiful birds and flowers are also part of this tropical garden. The home itself has a gourmet kitchen, large dining room, bedrooms with independent bathrooms, ceiling fans, plasma TV. With satellite, DVD player, internet.

All linens (mostly frette quality) are provided as well as maid service. For a small fee we can arrange for breakfast or lunch to be prepare. A welcome basket with basics for the first day is provided at no extra charge. This house was used as a T.V. movie set location in the 1980's. It was a BBC production called 'west of paradise' by Michael J. Bird.

The house is located on the main island of Mahè the largest of the Seychelles islands. There are approximately 64 beaches on this island. From Mahè you can visit the islands of Praslin, La Digue, Bird Island and many more. There are day excursions to the marine park; offshore fishing is also available readily with picnics on a secluded beach.

The maison is close to many walking trails, which will take you through the tropical rain forest with incredible mountain views of the ocean and outer islands. Many restaurants and hotels, shops are within a short distance of the house.

Means of transportation to the other islands are either by small plane or boat. The plane flight takes only approximately 15 minutes while by boat it will take you about 50 minutes. I can also organize a reliable car rental at a very reasonable rate. Rates are listed on the website, but if there is a large group renting I can discount the rate.

The Seychelles islands is also the place where prince William and Kate spent their honeymoon and where they also spent a week's holiday a few years prior to their marriage. These islands are absolutely wonderful.
