Hemingway House has the following self-catering apartments available for rent:

Attic Suite Apartment - Sleeps 5 (Rates from € 400 to 525/week)

This apartment (100 sqm) covers the entire top floor of the house. There is a large open plan main room with a king sized bed, a sofa bed (which comfortably sleeps two adults) and ample wardrobe space. The other side of the room has a kitchen with a breakfast bar (seats two) and dining area (seats six). The kitchen has a 4 ring gas hob, oven, microwave, blender, kettle and toaster. Off the main room is the bathroom and a separate smaller bedroom. There is a wood burning stove in case you get chilly.

Mary's Apartment - Sleeps 4 (Rates from € 370 to 455/week)

This apartment (45sqm) is located in the front part of the first floor. There is a large open plan bedroom with a king sized bed and lounge area with a sofa bed which comfortably sleeps two adults. There is also a reading nook beside the wood burning stove. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower. The kitchen is just off this room and has a dining area which seats four people. The kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Martha's Apartment - Sleeps 2 (Rates from € 280 to 350/week)

This apartment (32sqm) is located in the back of the first floor. It is a studio apartment with two single beds which can be put together as a double. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room table which seats two. The bathroom is large and has a storage closet for luggage. And there is an antique wood burning stove.

Pauline's Apartment - Sleeps 2 (Rates from € 280 to 350/week)

This apartment (27sqm) is located at the back of the ground floor. It is a studio apartment with two single beds which can be put together as a double. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room table which seats two. The bathroom is large and has a storage closet for luggage. The flat has direct access to the downstairs patio and garden.

Hadley's Apartment - Sleeps 3 (Rates from € 305 to 385 / week)

This apartment (35sqm) is located at the front of the ground floor. The studio has a double bed and chair, which converts into a comfortable single bed for an adult. The kitchen is larger than the other studio's and has a wood burning stove as well as a 4 ring hob. And the en-suite bathroom's shower has massage power jets.

The Garden

There is a large garden to the rear of the property with a grassy lawn, herb garden and a BBQ area. There are also two terraces to relax on.

The Storage Barn

There is a large secure barn to the very back of the property which can be used to store sporting equipment, motorcycles or to dry tents and clothes if they are wet.

I've worked hard to make the apartments feel like a home away from home with little touches like French press and Bialetti coffee makers in each room.

The Apartments would suit all types but couples might find the Attic Room or Mary's Room particularly romantic with their exposed beamed ceilings and very comfortable queen sized beds.

The Attic Room would not suit families with small children, as there is no safety gate at the top of the stairs.
