Sinnington Common Farm Holiday Accommodation
Sinnington Common Farm is a working family farm offering a range of self-catering accommodation. Some of the farm buildings are up to 300 years old and swallows return to them each year flying in and out of the buildings all summer long. The farm has an environmental friendly policy to encourage wild life and our animals graze on land free from chemical sprays and fertilisers.
The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors.Our farmyard animals(many rescue animals) include goats, poultry, Dasher the pet bull who thinks he's a horse! and his girl friends, coloured, haflinger and appaloosa horses, , pot-bellied pig, cheeky donkey, friendly farm cats and dogs, ewes and lambs.
Pets are welcome and we have a farm walk with abundant wildlife including foxes hares, deer, curlews, partridge, herons, skylarks and pheasants plus a walk round short coppice willows being grown to provide green energy for Drax power station.
The accommodation comprises one and two bedrooomed cottages/log cabins (5 in total) all have en-suite bathrooms and are ground floor.
Prices include heating, linen, towels, electricity, wi-fi and wood for the wood burning stoves.
The area has an abundance of pubs serving good quality food.
