Shropshire Holiday Lets
Welcome to our Shropshire Holiday Lets. Our two self catering flats are situated down a quiet country lane, lying between historical Much Wenlock with its Olympic Games origins and medieval Shrewsbury, which is also the birth place of Charles Darwin.
The Studio and Garden Flat, both sleep 2 people and adjoin our stone thatched cottage. These flats have delightful views of Wenlock Edge and the beautiful surrounding Shropshire countryside. They are extremely well positioned for enjoying the delights of Shropshire: Ironbridge with its celebrated iron bridge and comprehensive selection of museums; the market town of Bridgnorth boasts the Severn Valley Steam Railway, a funicular railway and hosts the annual Haydn Festival. Ludlow is highly recommended for its castle and Tudor historic centre and it is a must to sample some of the renowned culinary delights.
Our flats are ideal for walkers, cyclists (lock up shed), poets and writers, or those who simply wish to relax. Walkers can enjoy walks from the door or a little further afield is Church Stretton, gateway to The Long Mynd and Cardingmill Valley. The county has some spectacular scenery and the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) covers about a quarter of the county, mainly in the South, which just so happens to be where we are situated!
We have a no smoking policy in the flats. Regrettably no pets are allowed in the flats too. Torches can be found under the sinks in both kitchens. A hairdryer can found in the chest of drawers of both flats and there is also a Hoover in each flat.
We welcome any feedback on the facilities, as we want you stay to be as comfortable as possible. Our Cottage is linked to the two lets by a very small conservatory, so we are ready at hand to deal with any problems, which may arise, and we are firmly committed to constantly improving the flats.
