Our cottage is situated on the stunning west coast of the Isle of Wight. Walking distance to the harbour town of Yarmouth is very picturesque and pretty. A popular destination for sailing, an excellent base for a walking holiday, and good sea fishing location.
The coastal path runs past the back of the property and onto Colwell Beach, Totland, the Needles and Freshwater, with many spots offering stunning views of the Solent. Tennyson Downs is also nearby, as is Afton Down, site of the world famous Isle of Wight Festival.
A 10 minute drive takes you to Compton Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern England. Within a half hour drive is Osbourne House, the summer home of Queen Victoria; Cowes, where the annual regatta Cowes Week takes place, Robin Hill, home of the Bestival, and Blackgang Chine.
