Fountain Lake Lodge 3 bedroomed Holiday Log Cabin in York

Fountain Lake Lodge is our beautiful 3 bedroomed Holiday Log Cabin, situated right by the fishing lake at Goosewood Holiday Park in York.

The open- plan living and dining room has a large LCD TV and DVD player, an audio system with ipod dock, and there is a lovely modern kitchen with all the cooking equipment you could ever need. It also has an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and full sized fridge freezer.

There are three bedrooms in total, with one kingsize bedroom with en-suite bathroom, also a twin bedroom and a children's bunk bedroom. The lodge can accommodate 4 adults, 2 children and a baby (travel cot provided). The lodge is fully centrally heated and is so cosy on winter evenings.

The decking overlooks the fishing lake where you can spend hours relaxing!

The lodge is so close to York City Centre, so it is perfect for visiting all York's tourist attractions. We especially enjoy visiting York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre and the fantastic York Museum. Why not take a river boat cruse down the River Ouse during your stay! Not to be missed is one of York's Famous Ghost Walks, which take place every evening, and give you a spooky insight into York's ghostly history!

Surrounding the lodge is beautiful countryside and lots of lovely village pubs and restaurants. Close by is Sutton on the Forest, which has two lovely Gastro pubs, the Blackwell Ox and the Rose and Crown, which do great food for lunch or dinner. Further afield is Easingwold, a beautiful village and is well worth a visit during your stay!
