Within 4 miles lies Ashford, with its many shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, including a cinema and bowling alley. For the golfer, there are a number of courses in the local area.

Ashford International Station is about 10 minutes drive away, if you fancy a day out in London, or a day trip to France or Belgium travelling on the Eurostar. The Channel Tunnel is about 20 miles away if you wish to do some duty-free shopping in France.
