Tigh Fhionn Selfcatering Cottage,Glenelg

3 bedroom self-catering house on working croft surrounded by hills and 5 miles from the sea. Great for families or couples looking for a peaceful get away, also great for bird watchers with sea eagles and buzzards flying above the croft. Reasonable rates.

Village of Glenelg 5miles,car ferry to the Isle of Skye 5 Miles, Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles.

The Village of Glenelg is full of historical sites such as Pictish Brochs, red coat barrocks, also 8 miles is the beautiful Sandaig bay where Gavin Maxwell lived with his otters (ring of bright waters).

The Isle of Skye is within reach of the house with Glenelg boasting the last car ferry to run to The Isle of Skye. Glenelg village also has its own local shop, bar and cafe where you can try fine local meats and seafood.

4 miles from the house is Glenelg bay with 1/2 a mile of sandy beach for the kids to play on or for an evening stroll.

9 miles along the Glenelg road is the village of Arnisdale were a boat can be caught to take you to the Knoydart peninsula for a day of hill walking among the Munros.

The house itself sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, all linen and towels are provided, enjoy a glass of wine in the garden while you watch the sun set over the mountains. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars and plenty of space for kids to plat outside. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as there is miles of forestry walks next to the house.

Prices range from£150 per week to £500 per week, weekend deals may also be available, all prices include electricity and bed linen.
