The stunning scenery of North Harris sees the rugged mountain terrain fall into the raging sea, only to be softened by the stretches of soft golden sands of Hushinish, over looking the uninhabited island of Scarp.
Hushinish beach is a five minute drive away from the cottage. Tamana beach (where the cottage finds its name) is a ten minute walk over the hill behind the cottage.
The cottage sleeps 5 with a double and twin bedroom. A travel cot is also provided.
Large decking area, ample parking and provision for disabled access. Includes towels, bed linen & welcome tray. No smoking. No pets.
A garden shed is also available to store any outdoor equipment, bikes, boots, fishing equipment.
Fishing on the Govig loch is at no extra cost.
5lbs is the biggest fish caught on Govig loch. Will you be luck enough to set the new record? Salmon fishing on other lochs can usually be arranged with the local estate.
With the front of the cottage just feet away from Govig loch, it provides fantastic opportunities for watching the ducks and swans that visit the loch.
If you'd prefer to be on the loch the use of a small boat is provided. (TO BE USED AT OWN RISK. Life jackets provided.)
