Pines Cottage

This 4 bedroomed bungalow is set in its own grounds with a secure garden and magnificent views directly to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Historic Cambuskenneth Abbey is a 5 min walk.

The sitting room has a dining area with views to the river and castle and is equipped with a television, dvd player and has an electric fire the give a boost to an already efficient central heating system.

The kitchen is equipped with washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob and electric oven. A welcome pack of essential items will await you on arrival.

The 2 twin rooms and the double bedroom have ensuite shower rooms and the king-size bedroom has the family bathroom adjacent. This bathroom has a bath and shower. All linens and towels are provided along with basic toiletries.

For guests with children we can provide a baby monitor, pushchair, high chair and travel cot and a small selection of books and toys. For less able guests there is a ramped access to the garden entrance and handrails at the shower and wc in bedroom 2. The property is on one level and is safe for both children and the less able guest

We can arrange uplifts from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports (Edinburgh 40 mins, Glasgow 50 mins) and Stirling railway station (15 min walk or 5 mins by car)
We can offer advice on dining out, local walks, local tours and historic sites and local sport facilities including over 50 golf courses under 1 hours drive. We can loan 2 sets of clubs and 2 bicycles if required during your stay.

There is a swimming pool, ice rink, sports halls, cinema and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Also within that distance is Stirling University and the Macrobert Centre with its theatre and cinema. Nearby are the charming villages of Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. Both are picturesque and have lovely walks and places of interest such as Dunblane Cathedral.

Bridge of Allan has many small restaurants and coffee shops and is renowned for its main street of small independent shops. Stirlings Thistle Centre and The Marches have over 100 shops including Mark sand Spencer, Debenhams, Bhs, Next, Zara etc.
