Asheston Eco Barns
If you're seeking wonderful holiday accommodation with a difference, these comfortable and relaxing 5* eco barns are ideal.
Modern and contemporary while retaining many charming original features, such as exposed stonework and their wooden Welsh ‘log beams’, the barns offer holiday cottage style self-catering with that special something extra, attracting guests back time and again.
Set in a tranquil and unspoilt location, they’re surrounded by beautiful countryside and are only 3 miles from the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, 6 miles from the coastal village of Solva and 9 miles from St. Davids, the ancient spiritual capital of Wales. Newgale Sands, one of Britain's best beaches, is less than 4 miles away.
Each of the 5 eco barns sleeps a maximum of between 4 and 7 and their eco features include solar hot water and ground source heat pumps which power the luxurious underfloor heating.
History enthusiasts will be interested to know that Asheston Eco Barns lie on the Landsker - an 11th century frontier between north and south Pembrokeshire, which is rich in myth and legend and lined with Norman fortifications. Many of these Landsker castles can still be visited.
Some incredible wildlife watching opportunities can be found locally too. Nature reserves dot the landscape and the islands are worth checking out too. Ramsey Island boasts the largest grey seal colony in southern Britain. And don’t miss the puffins on Skomer Island!
