Riding Farm provides high quality self catering accommodation or a mixture of both to suit your needs. Our accommodation has a relaxed spacious country style combined with modern luxuries. Fully equipped with high quality furnishings and ensuite bedrooms to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Delightfully located on a working family farm surround by quiet and peaceful countryside. Riding Farm is ideal for family holidays short breaks or business/corporate travel.

Located just 3 miles from the A1M perfect for the North East's cities of Newcastle Gateshead Durham and Sunderland all within an easy 20 minute drive. Beamish Open Air Museum Durham Cricket Ground at Chester le Street and the Angel of the North are all on our doorstep. Further afield enjoy exploring the delights of the Durham Dales Hadrians Wall Alnwick Gardens and Castle National Trusts and English Heritage sites as well as the spectacular Northumberland and Durham countryside and coastline.

The farm also has its own network of footpaths cycleways and bridleways all bursting with wildife for you to enjoy and explore.

The cottages sleep between 2 -6 persons with a combination of single and 2 storey accommodation. All of the cottages are spacious with facilities include ensuite bedrooms with power showers fully equipped kitchens colour TV DVD VCR WI-FI and freeview and all linen and towels are provided. There is ample secure private parking and patios with garden furniture. Bike storage travel cots and high chair are also available.

We can arrange for food and wine to be waiting for you on arrival as well as providing breakfast.
