An Acarsaid Cottage
We designed the cottage to combine the spirit of the original building which was last inhabited 80 years ago with modern 21st century features which bring you close to the ever changing landscape, sky and sea.
The cottage has outstanding views down to Loch Poolteil with its dramatic cliffs and across the sea to the mountains of Harris and North Uist. The cottage stands in a large wild garden with a small burn running through it. Milovaig is a small scattered township full of local life. Buy fresh lobster from the local fisherman or fresh produce/ free range eggs from the friendly neighbours. The nearest village of Glendale is within 20 minutes walking distance where there is a Post Office, village shop and small Cafe. Within 15 minutes drive you can reach the world renowned restaurant The Three Chimneys. The larger village of Dunvegan with its historic castle and is just a few more minutes down the road.
The accommodation comprises a 21st century open-plan space with a large gable window framing spectacular views out to sea.
