Fishing, walking, distillers, ideal for skiing and all other mountain sports. Watersports all nearby at Loch Insch or Loch Morlich, everything for a fantastic active holiday with something to suit all ages. Lots of visitor centres nearby, Kinguisie Wildlife Park, Landmark Centre, etc.

Or if you prefer a quiet holiday the house sits in a very quiet location. Inverness is nearby and the other surrounding places of interest; Boat of Garten, Loch Ness, Granton on Spey. This is a national park and as such there is a fantastic infrastructure of transport with ski busses to take you to all the action.

Monarch of the glen country is all around, breathe fresh air in the highlands, there is deer and lots of birds of prey in the area with an osprey centre nearby. Also the landmark activity centre is nearby. All in all this is why people from all over the world come to see the true Scotland.

The Culloden site is nearby and other places of history.

This is a fantastic holiday location for all the family with all the things you can think of to do and with a fantastic luxury of Holly Cottage. I am sure you will have a fantastic holiday whether you stay a couple of nights or a full week, or if your really lucky and spend two weeks you will discover your own Aviemore and will enjoy yourself and you never know you might discover a new you with the renewed vigour to get yourself through another year.
