Bainvalley Holiday Cottages
Bainvalley Cottages are situated on a mixed farm, growing arable crops and with a herd of beef suckler cows. The cottages are within the Lincolnshire Wolds, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bainvalley Cottages are five minutes walking distance from a Good Food pub and 10 minutes from a well-equipped Play Area. Dogs are welcome.
The peaceful rolling countryside of this part of Lincolnshire is little known and quite un-spoilt.
Bainvalley Cottages are in the centre of the county and are therefore ideally situated for using as a base.
We are only 5 miles from Cadwell Park where there is the most exciting motorcycle racing circuit in the country the narrow, twisting, hilly track presents a unique challenge for the Super-Bikes!
We have some wonderful beaches - from the quiet sandy expanses to the more traditional donkey-rides and sandcastle building. At Donna Nook it is possible to see the Grey Seal's pupping from October to January each year.
Throughout the county there are over 100 walks to enjoy - plenty to keep you occupied during your visit!
The new Cycle Water Rail Way has just been opened from Lincoln to Boston the route embraces a variety of scenery, from the City, to rolling farmland and ancient woodlands, to the wild beauty of the fens back to a City.
The Battle of Britain Memorial flight is stationed at RAF Coningsby (12 miles) where you can see the last flying Lancaster in Great Britain.
Woodhall Spa is the National Golf Centre, and headquarters of the English Golf Union, its two famous championship golf courses are the Hotchkin and the Bracken (8 miles). The Kinema in the Woods in Woodhall Spa, has a rear projection with two auditoriums.
