Eastcroft Holiday Cottage

Eastcroft was built in 1858 by the present owners great-great grandfather and has been modernised to today's standards. The views from the cottage are wonderful and change with the seasons, the vivid yellow of the gorse in spring, the rhododendrons and bright yellow isis in summer, the golds and browns in autumn and the snow on the hills in winter but always beautiful.

The lounge is comfortable with family seating, television and hi-fi, there is an open fire which heats the radiators and water, or electric heaters in all rooms and an immersion heater should you not want to light the fire.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, washing machine, tumble dryer, dining table etc. The bathroom is modern including a bath with shower over.
The loft bedroom is accessed from a staircase in the hallway and has 1 double and 2 single beds.

Letting is from Saturday to Saturday and all fuel, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Prices range from £320 - £440.

We are happy for you to bring your children and your dogs the large garden is fully fenced.

Lochdon is a very peaceful place and perfect for relaxing. There are many species of birds to see the most famous being the sea eagles, which are often seen over the loch. We are only 3 miles from the ferry terminal at Craignure, so in a central position for exploring Mull.

There are many places to visit and lots to see on Mull. Torosay castle and Duart castle are just down the road, there is a newly built swimming pool in Craignure and a golf course a mile away. Craignure has excellent eating facilities, a shop with post office and tourist information centre. There are wildlife tours that can be arranged at several places throughout the island and horse riding is also available.

Tobermory, the main town, where the childrens program Balamory is set, has shops and a Sea Life centre where boat trips can be arranged.

Another beautiful place to visit is the Isle of Iona, a very spiritual place where you can visit the Abbey and relax in the peaceful atmosphere.
