The district is served by tram, subway and bus lines. Also, Cologne main train station is situated exactly next to Cologne Cathedral.

It has a direct streetcar connection to the CityCenter, Leverkusen, and Duesseldorf/Essen.
The surrounding area of Cologne offers many further possibilities, i.e., the Phantasialand in Bruehl, boat tours to the famous Lorelei, the Drachenfels and the Siebengebirge.
