Location
Ventnor is a charming Victorian town noted for its sunny summers and mild winters. It is built on the sheltered undercliff on the south of the Isle of Wight and is dominated by the highest point, St Boniface Down, immediately behind the town. Sir James Clark, Queen Victoria's doctor, endorsed the health-giving properties of Ventnor's climate: 'nothing along the south coast will bear comparison with it'.
In recent years Ventnor has become a centre for good food with the only Michelin starred restaurant on the island only five minutes walk from the apartment and AA two rosette dining only two minutes away. This in addition to other places to eat such as seafront pubs, an authentic Spanish Tapas Bar and a smart seafront wine bar.
