Bluebell Lodge Self Catering Log Cabin.

The Lounge is large and bright with all modern facilities provided. The open plan aspect of the lodge brings the outside in. The lounge leads off to a Galley kitchen with all modern appliances. From there into the hallway are 3 good sized bedrooms. Main bedroom with fitted units and en-suite bathroom. Bed 2 has two single beds and bedroom units, Bed 3 Double bed and units. Off the hall is a family bathroom with over-bath shower.

At the rear of the lodge is a large Summer House great to relax and read and enjoy that glass of wine watching the sun go down, or just to escape.

The area provides lots to do, if you enjoy Horse riding, Mountain biking, walking, fishing, sailing or golf. All is within minutes of the lodge.

Kippford provides beaches, a beautiful area to walk in the forests or tracks, sail or just relax.

There two good pubs, that supply good food and drinks, the Mariner also provides a large beer garden with playground for children.

The area is blessed with a moderate climate as we get the Gulf Stream, on hot days you would think you were abroad.

Castle Douglas is within a short drive, it provides a large supermarket and lots of local shops providing all you would need for an enjoyable stay.

Dalbeattie is on your doorstep for local shopping, also for those who don't want to cook there are a number of takeaways.

Local beaches are within easy reach. A really enjoyable walk from the lodge is to Kippford's beaches along a private road, safe for the children to play.

A short drive is Rockcliffe, lovely safe beach, great walks and views. Further down the road is Sandyhills, a large golden sandy beach with facilities & shop, great to relax, walk along the sea edge or play.

Its a Mountain bikers dream. The 7 Stanes tracks surround us the local one is Dalbeattie Forest, all the others are within easy reach.

Barend is just around the corner from here, you can enjoy horse riding or pony trekking as this is provided by the local stables and also a Deer Park.

Mabie Farm Park is a great place to take the children as this provides numerous things to do. Go Karting, Quad bikes, animals, Cafe and picnic areas.
