Elegant stone converted barn on a working farm in County Meath. Each cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Open plan living and dining area. Separate kitchen. Set in lovely landscaped gardens close to the early 19th century Gaulstown House.
Breakfast and Dinner available in Farmhouse - booking required. Apartments are situated on a working farm, gusts are free to take a walk around farm and observe the animals and working life on the farm. Guests receive a Home baking pack on arrival.
All toiletries are supplied free of charge and each house comes with an initial fuel basket. Golfing can be arranged at Black Bush Golf Club and riding lessons can be had at Pellettstown Riding Centre and Royal Meath Equestrian Centre both of which are within 10 minutes drive of Gaulstown House Self Catering Cottages.
The wonderful Boyne Valley and all its tourist attractions of Newgrange, Knowth, Dowth and the thriving towns of Navan, Trim and Drogheda are conveniently located to the apartments.
The wonderful beaches at Laytown and Bettystown are a short car journey away also. Dublin city ant its airports and ferry ports are within 40 minutes driving time from the farm. Buses run every 15 minutes from Dunshaughlin village and return frequently from central Dublin also.
Tattersalls Horse Sales Complex is within a five minute drive of Gaulstown House Self Catering Property also where Horse Sales take place regularly throughout the year.
May 2009 sees the International Horse Trials take place at Fairyhouse over the last week in May, finals take place over the bank holiday weekend.
