Rosehip Cottage

Rosehip Cottage is beautifully decorated and well furnished. It is situated in a quiet road in Hunter's Quay, just outside Dunoon and has sea views. The property has a large sitting room with a dining area at one end with french doors leading to the garden which guests are welcome to use. There is a large hall with light oak floor, three double bedrooms (one double-bedded and two twins) and a well equipped bathroom with bath. The kitchen is bright and cheerful with sea views.

The kitchen is bright, cheerful and very well equipped with washer, fridge, cooker and microwave.

The living room is a large, attractive, light, airy room very well furnished with two leather sofas, television and the walls are bedecked with original art by the owner of the cottage, Peter Wilkinson a local artist. At one end of the living room there is a dining area with attractive table and chairs and doors leading to the garden which guests are welcome to use.

Outside Rosehip Cottage there is parking space for two cars.

Rosehip Cottage can be reached from Glasgow Airport in approximately 45 minutes by car. Guests usually arrive via the ferry, which departs from Gourock and crosses the Firth of Clyde, a lovely atmospheric start to a holiday. There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing, fishing and quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering. The area is rich in Scottish History, the scenery beautiful and trips can be taken to the Younger Botanical Gardens with their amazing trees, Wemyss Bay and Bute.
