Cowes View has been awarded 4 star from Visit Britain, it is a comfortable cottage with private access to the beach.
The cottage has 2 double bedrooms and a balcony, a mezzanine with a double sofabed. There is a bathroom and shower room both with WC.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.
The TV has freeview and cable and there is broadband for those who like to keep in touch.
There is a vast amount of activities close on hand. Titchfield National Nature Reserve is a gentle walk along the beach, which is along the Solent Way. The Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth is the home of The Victory, The Mary Rose and The Warrior.
The New Forest is easily accessible with its walks and cycle tracks and hosts The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Bucklers Hard, Lymington, Lyndhurst and many beautiful New Forest ponies that roam freely. Southampton is steeped in maritime history, where Titanic sailed on her maiden voyage.
The Isle of Wight can be reached by hovercraft, catamaran and car ferry, there are many sites on the island to visit.
Cowes View is a great base to visit all of these. The seaside cottage is a place to relax and unwind from those ever increasing hectic lives that can pass us by so quickly, you can spend your time watching the ever changing canvas that is in front of your eyes, the cruise liners that sail by to there far away places, tall ships that could be those smugglers ships that once were seen from these cottages, where the preventative officers sat watching and waiting for those whiskey smugglers to risk coming ashore, or the lasers, mirrors, dinghies that the young folk of Hill Head are sailing past.
