In the heart of the Peak District National Park - approximately 6 miles from both Bakewell and Buxton

Built in the 1850's and adjacent to a lead miners cottage, these two barns have now been restored and converted into high quality holiday cottages available to let throughout the year. Guests enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rural location whilst having the modern conveniences of freeview television and wireless broadband. Bakewell & Buxton are only 6 miles away!

Each cottage sleeps four in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Each cottage has been tastefully appointed in order to retain as much of the original character as possible whilst ensuring a warm cosy place in which to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Each cottage has a large lounge with log burner, exposed oak beams complimented by a bright decor.

Hayloft is suitable for a wheelchair and has the Kitchen, Lounge, Bathroom and a double bedroom all on one, groundfloor level. The Byre has 'upside/down' living taking advantage of the available views from the upstairs lounge, dining and kitchen area's.

Both cottages have underfloor heating powered by an Eco-friendly ground source heat pump. This ensures a consistent level of regulated warmth throughout the cottages whatever the weather!

Standing in an acre of ground, the cottages enjoy uninterrupted, 360 degree views of the Peak District National Park. Our nearest neighbour is half a mile away! You are welcome to wander around the garden or, if you are feeling more energetic, we are adjacent to a network of footpaths that can take you to Flagg, Taddington, Chelmorton, Monyash, Sheldon and beyond to Bakewell.
